Raaw: Cranberry Ginger

BevNET Review: Of the flavors of RAAW that we sampled, this was the only variety that promotes a flavor (ginger) that doesn’t actually come from added juice. That was a bit of a disappointment to us, especially since the ginger flavor that is present is muted rather than the spice they could get from raw ginger juice. Instead the drink has a pineapple, apple, and cranberry flavor, which is good, but not as original or unique as RAAW’s other flavors. Adding some ginger juice (and heat) to the product would certainly change this. Packaging is, like the other varieties, a 16 oz. PET that’s fully wrapped. It’s attractive and has a definite vibe of healthiness to it, which is clearly what they were going for with this product. Overall, it’s good, but could be much better, especially after the bar has been set extremely high by their other flavors.
