Heavenly Hemp is a raw non-dairy “milk” made from water, hemp seeds, dates and coconut nectar. The flavor is so good, in fact, that it might just be the star of the Rawpothecary seed milk lineup. The hemp base definitely tastes like hemp milk that we’ve had in the past, but amplified in a way that it has a more pronounced earthiness and a silkier body. There is some light grit to the product, but it’s minimal and doesn’t get in the way of enjoying the beverage. The dates and coconut add some sweetness and additional flavoring, with the final combination having an almost vanilla-like note at the finish. Nutritionally, this product is well-rounded, with 4g of protein, 2g of fiber, 97 calories and 20 amino acids. On the outside, we like the small 8 oz. bottle. It looks like a cousin of a dairy bottle of some sort, but thanks to the smaller size, it would never be mistaken for milk. Beyond that, we like the throwback style of the brand. Otherwise, the label is straightforward and simple, although we’re sure that it will take consumers a little effort to truly understand what this product is all about (unless they in the small minority of people who are familiar with raw hemp milk). Regardless, the company has definitely put its best foot forward with this product; it’s definitely one of the best flavors in the Rawpothecary line.
