What you’ve got here is a pretty run-of-the-mill energy drink that has, for better or worse, taken a crack at being branded as a drink for sport fishermen. Inside the can, the flavor is very much your “classic” energy drink (and the “Light Tackle” variety being the “classic” diet energy drink formula). While there’s nothing wrong with the liquid, there’s nothing really memorable or unique about it. The outside of the can, on the other hand, definitely leaves something to be desired. It feels very much like a cliche energy drink, with aggressive imagery being used to attempt to establish credibility as an energy drink brand. Unfortunately, this doesn’t really work, with the product feeling sloppy and rushed and the label being very hard to read. Honestly, we really don’t see what benefit this product offers that can’t be found in some other energy drink that’s already on the market. Overall, we think that Reel Adrenaline needs to go back to the drawing board.
