BevNET Review: Rip It Energy Fuel is a new entry into the 16 ounce energy drink category. Featuring a mild berry-bubblegum flavor that has almost no aftertaste, Rip It is surprisingly easy to drink. The body of the product has a moderate level of carbonation which helps to hide the slightly syrupy consistency. The packaging of the product is clean in its execution, but it doesn't necessarily stand out from the other products in this crowded category. What does stand out is Rip It's price. With an SRP of $.99, Rip It is less than half the cost of the market-leading 16 ounce energy drinks. As such, Rip It should strongly appeal to value conscious consumers. It willl also likely appeal to athletes (due to the use of the word "fuel"). Overall, this product is a good entry into the category that should achieve decent success within National Beverage's existing distributor / retailer base.

The dollar tree in my town always has these for sale. For only a buck and it being 16oz it's a great deal. It doesn't have all the crap that other energy drinks have that make you feel like a zombie.

I bought a can of the standard 'Power' flavor. I expected it to taste horrible for the price and I was prepared to grit my teeth and take it since I have a tight budget. I was pleasantly surprised instead. It tastes a lot like Red Bull to me, but is 60% cheaper due to a lower price and larger can size. I definitely recommend trying it. The most you'll lose is $1 and a little time.

Rip it-Lime Wrecker and Rip it-Citrus X were good, but i dont think the A'Tomic Pom, Power, and Gin-Zing-R ones were that great.
