rip it ENERGY FUEL Power SF
rip its always been my favorite energy drink comapany, and there SF ones are usualy good. To start out, let me say the can is nice. Its clean, and silver with blue goes well together. So, lets see how it taste.
TASTE: Upon opening this, I notice the smell is similar to the original, but doesnt have the suger smell hat we have all come to know and love. The taste is a good mix of citrus with a little berry to through you off. So far, so good.
POWER(ironic huh?): The power is pretty solid for a suger free drink. It may not be as stong as Monster Lo-Carb, but its twice as cheap, so twice the power of this is much stronger than Monster Lo-Carb...
FINAL WORD: I like this drink. I was very impressed. I can see my self drinking this soon(like tommorow:p)...4.5/5
Picked this up on a whim at the dollar store...not sure I'll ever buy it again. The price is certainly right, but the flavor isn't very good. I don't really taste the berry mentioned in the review, it seems more citrusy to me. The aftertaste is the real problem though, it's quite harsh. Maybe I've just gotten too used to the energy juices like Monster Khaos & Lost Five-0...
Taurine: If you are a vegaterian this drink is the way to go for energy... First off it is deffinitly the best energy drink if you are concerned with health, sustained energy, and value. The only problem with it is that 16 oz is just way to much. If they packaged an 8 oz can with about 65% the price I think it would sell a lot better. 2000 mg of Taurine is insane(Not to mention you are also taking 200% of B6, and B12, and even higher amounts of Vitamin C), if you drink this whole can make sure you can make to a bathroom quick, take a seat you'll be a while...! Subscription for treating constapation or high chloestoral drink two cans a day for a week straight and drink 16 oz of water really quick two hours after a can of this, it'll straighten you right out. Oh yeah, it tastes good too.
I love Rip It Lite. With no calories, and no carbs, it is just what I need. I drink one almost daily around three or four o'clock in the afternoon when I'm dragging, and it picks me back up for the rest of the day. I used to come home dragging, and now I come home and clean and exercise with plenty of energy to last me until around midnight.
Rip It has flavor that some of the energy drink can't match. Instead of tasting like the inside of the can, it has a sweet berry type of flavor that is drinkable.
As both a value and health conscious consumer I take to energy drinks that offer low calorie and carb combos. Previously I was a big fan of the Monster and BooKoo low carb/calorie drinks, but at 99 cents per 16 oz. can, Rip It is quickly becoming my drink of choice.
The flavor is not bad, to me it tastes like a diet grape soda, but I have to admit I am not so concerned with flavor as I am with caffiene and low calories.
This is a great energy drink. Taste better than Red Bull plus you get almost twice as much for half the price. Only $1.00 per 16oz can at Super Walmart.
