BevNET Review: Using a blend of 70% juice, this product has one of the most intense fruit flavors that we've ever seen in an energy drink. Unlike Rockstar Juiced or Monster Khaos, this product's tropical fruit flavor is complex, but smooth, and doesn't have the caffeine tinge that were common in the first round of juice + energy hybrids. The level of sweetness is a bit strong, but enjoyable, and overall it has a flavor that is extremely refreshing. The packaging uses color well, with black and gold offsetting the bright hue of the purple. Plus, it will be easy to pick out from the crowd as this is not a color that has been widely used. Overall, we think that this product is a good addition to the Rockstar lineup and it provides a good alternative to the existing Juiced SKU. How about an energy tea next?

Mango rockstar were the only energy drinks i drank...but NO store in my town carries them anymore??? Why is this.. i see the new "orange" one and it was NASTY!!! Why aren't they carrying them anymore??? Ive been looking for months!! Ive only had the 10% juice one so it was fine by me...but now its just finding one!!

I don't drink energy drinks. I hate the stuff because of all the add-ins. When a friend had me try the Guava I fell in love. By this time it was 50% juice. I loved it, I stocked up whenever I could. Then the regular places I found it no longer had it I treated it like liquid gold. Whenever I found a place that had it I bought the whole shelf. I found a case of them at a bulk foods and was so excited, until I took it home and drank one. I was disgusted. 10% juice? What the H311??? Now it just taste like any regular energy drink with a drop or two of flavor. HATE IT! Bring back the JUICE version of the JUICED!

they finnaly ran out in the stores where i lived and i didnt know they changed it so i was happy i got the 50% rockstar but i didnt know about the change yet...i drank a sip of it and it tasted like ass i guess...but then i thought the can might of just been really dirty or somthing...so i tried it a few days later and washed the top...still tasted horrible...so i tried it a few more times till finally looking if they changed anything becuase i noticed the bottle was a wiered purple unlike the usally 50% juice one...well i noticed they cut about 800% of vitimins and crap out per can and added about 5x the suger as they use to have...then i saw it -10% JUICE- at that moment and ever since i feel horrible about the rockstar company and trully if some1 set fire to there factorys i wouldnt really feel bad i use to maybe be pissed at whoever did it but now i would prob feel a bit happyer i hope the rockstar company fails now...sadly that was the best tasting drink at 50% (i never had 70%) and can yall reset all comments before 2010 or somthing becuase every1 would change it to 1/5 or atleast 90% of them

In agreeing with everyone above, the new rockstar sucks! i have emailed them a few times and they pretty much tell me to get bent. if anyone wants to email them, feel free- admin@rockstar69.com I have switched to the regular NOS now. not as good, but it doesnt taste like complete monster shit.

Yuck is right. I was a loyal drinker of Rockstar Guava as it had the right mix of B vitamins and caffeine to keep my migraine headaches at bay. I too loved the sweetness of the Guava and was delighted to find a drink that helped me while not tasting like medicine. I am so, so disappointed in this formula change. If it does not change back, I will be obliged to spend my money elsewhere. Regrettable.

I just went to get some gas and bought a guava "juiced" rockstar without even realizing it was no longer 100% juice. I just moved from Michigan to Nevada and this is the first time Ive seen this. So I did a search and I guess it's happening everywhere?!?! This was my favorite flavor. I don't buy any energy drinks except the sugar-free versions so the 100% juice was a welcome and delicious change. I'm very upset. And this 10% "juice" tastes nothing like my 100% juice. :(

70% juice was best thing ever. The change to 50% lost a lot of the texture that made the original so great. I still drank it occasionally. 10% tastes like asshole.

In our house, we call Rockstar Mango "liquid gold." At least, we used to call it that. Since the formula change, we call it a disappointment.

I too am very dissapointed about Rockstar's formula change. I'm as passionate about the Mango version as you guys are the Guava variety. Like another commentor on here I panicked and bought about 3 cases of the old version, and continue to grab them up whenever I come across some at gas stations. Here's a letter I wrote to them-I have yet to get a response. To Whom It May Concern, I first wanted to write to tell you how much I've enjoyed Rockstar Juiced Mango since it was introduced a few years ago. I'm not a big coffee drinker, and since having kids, Rockstar has become my "coffee". I probably drank at least one per day, sometimes two. I have yet to come across anything from a purely taste standpoint that even comes close. I have a hard time trying to finish 16oz. of any other type of energy drink because of how bad they taste. Rockstar Juiced was a step above anything else. This brings me to the point of my email. I wanted to convey to you how disappointed I was when I walked into my local gas station to pick up my favorite energy drink, only to notice some new artwork on the can, and the dreaded "10%" Juice" label hidden on the back. I was a little bummed, but was still going to try it. When I took a swig, I was really let down. I couldn't believe that Rockstar had been relegated to the typical energy drink flavor (overly sugary, bad aftertaste, etc.). I thought I was drinking one of those crappy Monster Khaos things that always tried to be like Rockstar Juiced. I can't understand why such a radical change in formulation was deemed necessary.  Was it a cost decision?  If so, why not just charge more? I would have no problem (and neither would tons of other people I've read comments from on the internet) paying more for a superior tasting, healthier energy drink in a sea of bad energy drinks. I've happily paid thousands of dollars over the past few years for your product, but am sad to say that I can't bring myself to drink this new iteration of Rockstar Juiced. And will unwillingly have to find a substitute. I hope that you guys receive enough feedback from loyal patrons concerning the formulation change that you'll consider reverting to the old formula in a "New Coke" type of way. "Rockstar Classic", perhaps? Thanks for your time.

I have to say that this may be the FIRST time I've ever taken the time to write a review like this but that's how passionate I am/was about the 50% Juiced Guava. I never had the 70% so I can't comment... I probably would have liked it even better because the sugar content was probably less. I am a bit of a health freak and although this wasn't a "healthy" drink.. it DID have less sugar than most energy drinks. Not only that but it got me going more than any other flavor or any other brand of drink period. Don't know why... but I tried the Pomegranate, Tropical and Mango and they didn't do anything for me really. I would load up at the local grocery store where they were the cheapest in town ($1.68) and buy a case (24) at a time. I drank probably 4-7 of these a week.. now I will be having ZERO. Speaking of ZERO.. I wish there was a ZERO star rating because that's what it would get from me. I really am pissed... the new version has WAAAY too much sugar and tastes like medicine. I really hope Rockstar comes across this page and sees what they've done and we can only HOPE they revert back to the old recipe.
