I play basketball and during our finals we we 2nd in the league and we all were tired. I bought ice blue gatorade and but half of my guava rockstar in and next thing you know I had energy and I could play and defend well. I strongly recomend this drink and mixing with gatorade is even better.
this is really fruity and sweet. i was amazed it only had about 40 grams of sugar. i don't know what a guava is, but this is better than the original rockstar.
Wow, I see most people on here how great an energy drink this is. Not only does it taste fantastic, the fact that its 70% juice as well is awesome. I seriously wonder about the taste buds of the people who think it tastes "sick, like cough syrup, disgusting." Seriously?? Do you people drink other energy drinks?? If so, you'd realize how idiotic you sound. Compared to other energy+juice drinks, i.e. M-80 or Khaos, Guava is wonderful tasting. M-80 and Khaos taste way more "mediciney" then guava ever will. And compared to Red Bull or regular Rockstar, Guava is amazing. In short, ignore the fools who hate this drink and pick one up. You'll thank me for it.
Guava has such a wonderful flavor, it's almost a shame it's not used in more beverages all around. I like Monster M-80 a lot but this tropical flavored one's even better. As delicious as it's flashy purple can would suggest
I'm not a big fan of engergy drinks because the taste is usually horrible. but i decided to take another chance on a energy drink. i was tired and lazy and didnt wanna do anything. i ended up picking the guava rockstar and it was amazing. it was a sweet juice flavor and i couldnt taste the energy liquids at all. if you need energy but hate the taste of the drinks i strongly reccomend juiced guava rockstar because it will get your energy up and you will definitaly enjoy the taste
I decided today that I might as well treat myself to a drink. So I go down and decide to get one of these. My thoughts: The initial sip was excellent, definitely above the "medicinal generic" taste. I notice that the drink was very sweet, a little overdone, maybe. The energy boost isn't very powerful, but that's okay with me. The drink also gives an aftertaste, but not a bad one. Overall, go down and give this one a try, most likely you'll love it.
I continue to rack my brain wondering why Rockstar puts money into bad expansions, rather than advertising. Anyway, Juiced Guava is below average, with its plus being a noticable can and innovation in using guava. Besides that, it is bitter, hard to finish, and like the others, not refreshing. This is just another overpowering, poor attempt by Rockstar to try something different.
Final Analysis: Not one of Rockstar's "Greatest Hits."
When I first tried Juiced Guava I thought that someone had mixed some type of grape soda with some Welches grape juice. I thought that it was a great combination of the two things and it was definitely worth every cent that I spent on it.
I agree with an earlier review here - While the base flavor of this product is excellent, the excessive sweetness kept me from finishing the can. If you can tolerate a lot of sweet stuff, give it a try. I enjoyed it, but only in limited quantities.
Like all other Rockstar varieties, this one is entirely too sweet...almost syrupy. The flavor, however, is pretty decent. Much different than what's currently on the market. If the sweetness was reduced, the product would be much better.
Anybody who says that Sobe No Fear taste like cherry cough syrup is WAY off.. I've been really enjoying the Sobe NoFears (both the gold and red can) the last few weeks. The ONLY reason I tried this Rock Star was because I thought the Orange can of Rockstar Juice was pretty decent. I never had original Rockstar. I took 1 sip of this new Rockstar juice and about spit it out. I just threw it away because it tasted exactly like cough syrup! Nasty!! Nasty! Nasty!!
