The “Sweet” variety of Rooibee Red Tea is really what one might typically call “Original” in a line of beverages. This one uses only the core ingredients of water, organic cane sugar, rooibos tea extract, gallic acid (aka tea polyphenols), natural flavor, citric acid, and ascorbic acid. The flavor is enjoyable, drinking very much like a sweetened black tea might but without the acidity to the finish. Our only criticism is its relative similarity to the Honey Lemon variety to the point where both flavors are almost interchangeable. As far as packaging goes, this product utilizes a 12 ounce glass bottle, which, despite the much improved label design, still is going to confuse people for a carbonated beverage (which it's not). If they can't (or don't want to) change the bottle for whatever reason, placing "NON-CARBONATED" on the front of the bottle (perhaps in place of "naturally caffeine free," which is far less important) would be a step in the right direction. Overall, a very enjoyable product to drink, but the packaging choice is a very limiting one.
