BevNET Review: Root 66 Ginger Ale is an extremely refreshing and clean ginger ale that is sweetened with pure cane sugar. In addition, this caffeine free beverage has a bit of bite, but not too much that we'd consider it to be spicy. The subtle spice combined with the clean sweet flavor of the pure cane sugar. BevNET Review: Root 66 Grape Soda is definitely deserves to be near the top of our list of grape sodas. The sweet grape flavor is very tangy and quickly quenched our thirst. We really appreciate the use of pure cane sugar -- it makes this flavor go down easy and it never leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Overall, an excellent job from Root 66.Reviewed on: 1/2/2003

BevNET Review: Root 66 Orange Creme is another fine flavor from Root 66. This variety brings back the nostalgic flavor of an orange creamsicle -- both with the creamy orange flavor and the classic root 66 labeled package. We have to say, this is definitely one of the better orange creme sodas we've ever had. They've become a dime-a-dozen since Stewart's made a hit out of their version, but this one definitely blows them out of the water. Reviewed on: 1/2/2003

BevNET Review: Root 66 is a light, but sweet blackcherry soda made with pure cane sugar. The cane sugar gives this product a clean and light feel while the blackcherry flavor gives it a nice tart finish. Overall, we really like this product -- it's flavorful and thirst quenching. However, for this product to be a truly top notch beverage, they might want to consider losing the artificial flavors and the colors.Reviewed on: 10/16/2002

BevNET Review: Diet Root 66 is one of the better diet root beers that we have tried in recent years. The main reason is that this product uses Splenda as its sweetener, which means that it has less of an aftertaste than its aspartame sweetened counterparts. In addition, the root beer flavor itself has a nice full flavor with a finish that packs a nice bite. Overall, a great choice for diet soda drinkers.Reviewed on: 10/16/2002

BevNET Review: Root 66 Vanilla Creme is a cream soda that is made with pure cane sugar, so the taste and finish of this product are very clean. However, it uses a flavor that could be improved upon. The vanilla flavor does not taste very rich or natural -- it's kind of like those old cream soda lollipops. We recommend using vanilla bean or a similar flavor instead. BevNET Review: There is a big difference between 'home brewed' root beer and those brands made by the soda giants, and Root 66 Root Beer exemplifies this difference. Brewed by the newly begun Roadside Beverage Company, Root 66 is a great old fashioned, "All American" beverage. It is lightly carbonated with a rich, full flavor and a slight caramel-like taste. Made with pure cane sugar (as only the superior sodas are, in our humble opinion) this is a definite BevNET pick. Reviewed on: 10/16/2002
