Rosa's Original Horchata is our favorite flavor of the brand. It provides the most authentic horchata experienc because, unlike the others, it has no added fruit flavors. Horchata, which is a traditional Mexican beverage made from cinnamon, rice, sugar, and milk, is not a flavor that will be totally foreign to the American palate. Rosa's Horchata most closely resembles a more sweet, less spicy chai latte. In any event, Rosa's provides the consumer with a product that will feel traditional to many ethnic communities while it will feel innovative to mainstream America. As far as RTD shelf-stable dairy beverages go, this product provides a clean, satisfying flavor without going overboard on the calories and fat as many dairy beverages do. Overall, Rosa's Original Horchata should be a hit in hispanic community and has potential for mainstream success as well.
