Update Information for This Brand

Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
In 1985, R.W. Knudsen introduced the 12 oz. Spritzer, which combined fruit juice and carbonated water. This innovation provided a great alternative for children and adults who were drinking sugar-filled sodas. R.W. Knudsen has led the path to better health through the creation of its fruit juice Spritzers and Spritzer Lights. Made of real fruit juice and sparkling water, Spritzers were developed two decades ago to be an alternative to caffeine-filled sodas. Both Spritzers and Spritzer Lights are created without artificial ingredients and are exclusively fruit juice sweetened. Spritzer Lights are a fun, new take on Spritzers and contain 60% fewer carbs and calories than the original Spritzer. Making the switch from soda and diet drinks has never been easier!

Lemon-Lime

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12 fl oz (355 ml) can
BevNET Review: Something went right at the flavor house for Knudsen in this drink, because you can actually taste lime, then lemon as you drink it. Not bad, although it’s a bit too sweet due to the use of white grape juice concentrate as the only sweetening element. It could benefit from the use of lemon and lime juice as well as grape to cut that sweetness and give it a bit of zip. The can is mundane but attractive, with too many words on the front but nice pictures of a lemon and lime. Overall, it’s worth a try, especially if you don’t want to drink something with a ton of additives out of the cooler.

Peach

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12 fl oz (355 ml) can
BevNET Review: This is a very sprightly canned fruit juice drink, and it’s able to keep the white grape sweetener flavor to a minimum while allowing a decent amount of peachy taste to pop through. While it’s got no added sugar, it’s still 160 calories a can, so folks looking to avoid soda calories are kind of out of luck. That having been noted, it’s a tasty soda alternative, no caffeine, basic-looking peach-colored can with a couple of peaches on the front. Altogether, it’s a nice sales proposition, although it’s hard to say if it will attract those who might otherwise reach for a Coke.
