Mango Banana is a smooth and refreshing product. It is 100% organic, made with white grape, apple, mango, banana, and red grape juice/purees. The beverage is rich purple in color, attributed from the Brazilian Açai berry – loaded with 10-30 times the anthocyanins (purple antioxidants) found in red wine. The label catches the eye with an almost fluorescent green “Sambazon” label but works well with the orange and purple hues. While the reigning flavor in this smoothie is banana, it is certainly not overpowering and paired with bits of Açai pulp mixed in give the beverage a thicker consistency and a rather fresh from the blender texture. The product is just sweet enough and finishes off quite nicely. Coupled with antioxidants, omega fatty acids, amino acids, guarana seed extract for that natural boost, and Sambazon’s sustainable development program in the Amazon, all equate to a solid and very satisfying package.
