BevNET Review: Who can argue with a Shirley Temple? We can’t. As much as we’ve been unimpressed by Saranac’s other soda offerings, this one does indeed taste like maraschino cherries. It’s probably not that hard to pull off, and we think they’d get something more effective if they used real sugar, the simple sweet flavor isn’t bad at all. Definitely worth a try if you know what a Shirley Temple is.

This is the most disgusting soda I've ever drank. Way too sweet and it has BOTH fructose AND aspartame in it!?! WTF? I've barely got through half the bottle. It;s giving me a stomach ache now too. If you want a good soda, stick to Jones brand.At least you'll know you're not drinking something born out of a lab.

Like drinking syrup. It's not pleasant. Red Ribbon Cherry Supreme is a way better cherry beverage. It's made with real sugar, and the carbonation comes from dry ice. Saranac should stick to root beer.

This brings me back to the days before I was old enough to drink, at friends' bar mitzvahs. This bar tender is nice, and a bit heavy on the grenidine. There is a hint of lemon-lime of the base soda.
