Designed with the "four warrior attributes in mind" (loyalty, honor and pride, confidence, and determination), Shogun Energy Drink is an energy drink that is very much made with "classic energy drink" flavor. That being said, this product tastes like so many other wannabes out there. So what's the point? If you're looking for the cheapest way to get an energy buzz or love the thrill of picking up a different looking can each time you go to the store, then maybe Shogun is something you'll try? What's sad about this story is that the can itself — a cleanly designed black colored effort — is actually pretty memorable. If they could have just followed through and put something original in the can, we think that they might have had something with potential for longevity. But instead, their choice to go with the same flavor as so many other product has cut it off at the knees — and we unfortunately don't see a bright future for this product. Overall, we like the look of the can, but what's inside it severely limits its potential.
