BevNET Review: Simple Kitchen's Lemon & Mint variety is exactly the type of CSD / sparkling juice offering that we like to see being brought to market. First, it's naturally low calorie by using the "moderation" approach to formulation and, rather than using diet sweeteners, they've used a very light touch of honey. The resulting flavor is simple in formulation, but complex in flavor, with the lemon and mint flavors complementing each other nicely. The honey hits your tongue on the finish, helping to offset the naturally bitter taste of the lemon. Packaging is simple and attractive, with bright graphics that are delivered in a tasteful and clean manner. Placement of the USDA Organic seal on the neck is a touch that should help as well. Overall, superb taste and attractive appearance make this one of our new favorites in the sparkling category.

BevNET Review: Simple Kitchen has taken a juice that's generally used as filler and made it the focal point of the beverage -- and we're very pleased with the results. They key is the light use of sweetener (in the form of organic honey) which allows the drink to have a naturally grapey flavor that's very light in your mouth. This is a very nice departure from the the washed out filler juice or candy like flavors that we're used to seeing from white grape juice beverages. On the packaging front, the product delivers an attractive look that's minimalist but premium, which complements what's inside the bottle nicely. Overall, another well executed product from Simple Kitchen.

BevNET Review: The Simple Kitchen's "pinkgrapefruit" flavor is a high quality USDA organic CSD made with four simple ingredients: water, grapefruit juice, honey, and lemon juice. There's a total of 23% juice in this stuff, which is high as far as CSDs go. And, like the other flavors, they've sweetened it with a very light amount of honey (16g), which allows the fruit flavors to hit your mouth without being overwhelmed by the sweetness of the drink. Also, there's pulp in this product, which keeps with the super premium image that this product emits from both its flavor and packaging. Definitely one of the best sparkling juice products that we've had in a while.
