BevNET Review: SimpliFast's Lemon Breeze is essentially a ready to drink variation of the "master cleanse", a detox regimen that was designed over sixty years ago. It mixes lemon juice, maple syrup, fibersol-2, salt, and guarana, which, in pasteurized form, is certainly different than the fresh juice that's used in the traditional form. Otherwise, the drink is sweet but sour to the point where people who are not attempting a "3-day fast" will probably not like the product. That might not seem like a problem to SimpliFast, but having a product with this narrow of a niche is going to make it very challenging to survive or get shelf space. Overall, an innovative concept, but we think they've pigeon holed themselves. Reviewed on: 12/5/2008

BevNET Review: For a product that wants consumers to use the product for only 3 days at a time, it seems unnecessary to have more than one flavor. Based on the execution of the flavor and the fact that lemon is a major component of both flavors, we'd choose this one for elimination. It's not bad per se, but the addition of strawberry flavor doesn't add to the appeal or functionality of the product. Plus, we think that this brand has a better chance of surviving as a single SKU.
