BevNET Review: Next to the Sarsaparilla, Sioux City Ginger Beer is our second favorite flavor of this brand. Featuring a moderately spicy flavor, this product is quite enjoyable. It's sweet and has (aside from a slight corn syrup note) a clean and flavorful body. Also, we feel that this flavor of Sioux City has the most attractive and appealing label design. Overall, this product is definitely worth a try.

Siouc City Ginger Sucks

Daddy, said this sh*t sucks. I bought him the Ultimate Ginger Pack from Beverages Direct and he said Sioux City tasted like pi$$ water & he was highly offended Sioux City did Ginger Beers dirty by putting this on the market. Daddy said Cock & Bull's Ginger Beer nearly bit his head off and wants another 12 pack of Cock & Bull Ginger Beer.

I LOVE a good Jamacian GB, this is NOT BAD, but not too good either. Better than some others I have tried. It is so hard to find in Orlando, Fl. My Grandmother used to make the very best GB when we were kids, it was STRONG & GINGERY!!!!! That is the way I like it. The one from Australia is very weak. So few people realize the benefits from GB. I miss the taste of it.

Dark and Stormy
1 stars1 stars1 stars1 stars1 stars

Bought this brand for use in Dark and Stormy cocktails because it was half the price of the Gosling and Bartlitt's brands, both of which are excellent. This is awful. It's like a weak ginger ale. It lacks any bite or spice and the flavor is weak, kind of like sugary water. I don't know why ginger beer is as expensive as it is (~$8 for) but from now on I'll just spring for the good stuff.

Best ginger beer

My wife and I love ginger beer. We try new types every time we get a chance. We ran across Sioux City's ginger beer in North Georgia several years ago and both agreed it was the best we had tasted. We have casually looked for it for several years and not seen it again until this week when we found it at a local eatery. Wow is it good! It has just the right blend of earthy, spicy and sweet flavors.

I used to drink ginger beer as a child and longed for it until I visited Jamaica. That was good and then I found Sioux City ginger beer and it is perfect. Just the right balance of ginger, fizz and kick. I love anything ginger!

Just great

I was introduced to ginger beer while living in Georgia. Since then, I've lived around the country, always looking for a good GB. In a dumpy superette here in Minnesota, I found this brand. It's as good as anything I've ever found. I sneeze while drinking it (my wife wonders why I enjoy such a drink). Good stuff.

A good product, not overly sweet. Good ginger flavor but could use just a bit more spiciness.
