Using what appears to be a non-carbonated concentrated version of the "Purple" variety, Sippin Syrup's "Lil Sip" seems like a more appropriate format for this product. We say that both because of the name (this drinks more like syrup) and function, which we ultimately think is better suited for the shot format (like energy shots, we bet that relaxation products sell better up near the register). In terms of what's inside the bottle, it has a slightly thicker body than the carbonated varieties, with a more intense grape flavor than Purple does. Functionally, the product has the same blend of vitamins, chamomile, lavender, valerian root, L-theanine, melatonin, rose hips, hops extract, St. John's Wort, skullcap, and kava kava. On the packaging front, it very closely resembles an energy shot, especially with the word "relaxation" not placed front and center (it's above the product name — your eye doesn’t immediately go there). Plus, the flavor name blends in, with dark purple colored text placed on a black backdrop making for something that's slightly difficult to read. Still, we think that this is the best variety of the line — it has the best taste and, again, we believe that shots are ultimately the place that will succeed in the long run for this category. That said, Sippin Syrup's Lil Sip is definitely a product that has a chance to succeed.
