As far as flavor goes, 6 Shooter is pretty enjoyable; it's tea-like with a touch of sweetness and citrus. The product's key ingredient selling point seems to be its use of maca root, goji, and ginseng, but the shot also has caffeine, B vitamins, and a host of other ingredients that are typically found in energy shots. It definitely packs some punch, although we certainly can't vouch for the labels claim of providing 6 hours of energy. We're also not so fond of this claim from a marketing point of view, with it being a clear poke at the category leader, 5 Hour. On the other hand, we like the rather clean looking package, with "6 Shooter" being the main focal point of the front of the container. However, we could live without the pile of text that they've placed on the lower portion of the front of the container. Ultimately though, this product, while good, lacks anything that would compel us to purchase it — unless the price point were very discounted. A good start, but something that makes it stand out would help this product's cause.
