BevNET Review: This beverage "Tastes like a son of a bitch" (according to the label). Seriously, though, it does not taste anything like your ordinary root beer (do you ever expect anything normal from Skeleteens?...we hope not). Rat Bastard lacks the sweetness found in the mainstream root beers, but it has all the bite. Unlike some of the other Skeleteens beverages, this one is actually drinkable. We also like the labels on these beverages. Very funny!

Rat Bastard has an interesting flavor and is better than your regular Coco-Cola, but not all that great. The high fructose corn syrup use as a sweetner is a poor choice. I must admit, it's better than Frostie's rootbeer, but is still pathetic.

Yeah.. was good.. really liked this. I liked the other products.. they were good.. This was great, just a cool, qwerky root beer that goes off in your mouth. No matter what.. worth a try.

It really doesn't taste sweet like other root beer. I am a sugar fiend, so it's odd that I find this /so/ amazing. A little bit boner inducing, indeed. Hm. xxx

It seems like every beverage type has a drink with the word "Bastard" in it. Arrogant Bastard beer, Fat Bastard shiraz, etc. If you are gonna call your drink a bastard, you better back it up! Thie rootbeer does a fairly decent job of it. Very tart flavor and a little spicy. Nice dark color too.
