BevNET Review: This drink's most obvious flaw is that the "Lite" text blends in with the design of the can, relying on the consumer to either hunt around the can or rely on the fact that it's white (which is usually used for diet products). On the inside of the can, you've got a 5 calorie formulation that maintains a decent level of sweetness. The syrupy finish of its full calorie counterpart has been replaced by that of sucralose, which is arguably more enjoyable. Overall, better than its counterpart in flavor, but we still think that the outside of the can is the biggest question mark for the brand.Reviewed on: 12/7/2007

BevNET Review: Skin Industries' "Ultimate Performance Drink" is a fairly nice tasting drink, although we the word "ultimate" might be a bit much. The flavor is a light but moderately sweet citrus variety that features a relatively standard cocktail of energy ingredients. It's also sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, which gives it a syrupy finish on the tongue. Overall, it's nice tasting, but nothing that you can't find in other drinks. On the outside, you've got a brand that tries to establish the credibility -- and perhaps ego -- of the Skin Industries brand. Included are the company story (and date established) as well as an unexplained list of major cities. Unfortunately, this content undermines the otherwise unique design of the drink. A nice tasting drink, but we think it will be perceived as a vanity drink rather than a serious contender.Reviewed on: 12/7/2007
