The most notable point of differentiation about this product is its use of tea, in both white tea and yerba mate formats. This adds an innovative component to the taste, which has noticeable notes of tea as well as a slight splash of lemon flavor. The product uses a three sweetener blend of fructose, acesulfame potassium, and sucralose, which keeps the calories at 10 per bottle while delivering a moderate level of sweetness and only a mild amount of aftertaste. We like Slap Energy Shot's efforts to be creative with packaging, using the skinny 2 oz bottle and a proprietary cap design. The label is funky and fun, which is a nice alternative to the pharma or aggressive style of so many of the entrants into this category. Overall, a very well executed shot.
