The Blueberry flavor of Slingshot is very much in the same style as their other fruit-flavored offerings. The flavor of the liquid is very much on par with what you’d expect from fruit-flavored yogurt. It’s rich and somewhat thick, with a very pleasing blueberry flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. But really, the nicest part about this product is the mixin “shot,” which adds toasted oats, almond bits, chia seeds, honey and sunflower oil to the blend. This both enhances the flavor and the texture of the product, taking it from being a pretty standard tasting yogurt drink and making it into something that’s unique and has chew to it. We’re pretty sure that just about anyone who likes yogurt will enjoy what this product has to offer. Nutritionally, the product is full of good stuff, including 18g of protein, omega-3s, fiber, vitamins, and calcium. Finally, there’s the packaging, which is an 11 oz. bottle that has a shot wrapped around the top. While it’s obvious that the product is a yogurt drink, the shot, which is wrapped around the top of the bottle, is what ultimately catches the eye and gives this product a memorable appearance. We think that it will be pretty hard for someone to forget the impression that it makes. Overall, a very nice addition to the Slingshot lineup.
