This one's up there with Fire as my favorite of the line. In college I used to stop at the Union and grab a Fire and a Sub-Zero while they were on sale. Great alternative to the ultra-caffeinated sodas I normally drink.
It's got a great name, "Sub Zero" and a really cool solid Al bottle, but the drink is disappointing. I agree with BevNet, it drinks like a juice for children. (I have never liked those cheap artificial juices.) It's overly sweet, and the flavor has a bit of a bitter/sour kick that's not so pleasant. The best part is how cool the Aluminum bottle mouth feels to your lips.
This is probably the bottom when it comes to Snapple's Metallic Elements. The taste isn't awful, but it's got some kick that doesn't go away. It's got a bit of an after taste, that shouldn't happen. 18oz is good, but only when it tastes good.
Tastes like that Cherry Vanilla Fruitopia I had once, although not quite as bad. Its your basic 10% fruit juice drink and nothing more. Although I loved the packaging so that's where the extra points come from. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.
SilverCloud hooked me up with a bottle of this a couple weeks ago... It's not bad, as to be expected- but again it is really just a juice-based drink with some fly 'energy' ingredients thrown in. Now the glass-bottle Element drinks look a little more interesting... I'll have to try them soon before they're out!
This stuff tastes really good but its got the typical 10% real fruit juice taste to it. I don't know. It's good but it's got that taste like it's not all natural. Maybe I'm tasting things. lol.
Not bad, not great. Kind of a weird spin on a cherry flavored drink that's...different. I really liked the old snapple element bottle, but the new one is cool too. Not a must-have.
