Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
In our quest for the perfect tea, we scoured the planet and found rooibos, a rare antioxidant-rich tea that only grows in the Western Cape region of South Africa. we topped it off with real fruit juice packed with vitamin C to contribute to a strong, healthy immune system. So go ahead, enjoy our delicious rooibos. And work on the pronunciation factor.

Acai Mixed Berry

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 17.5 fl oz (517 ml) glass
BevNET Review: Nowadays, you can’t launch a line of teas – or anything else -- without an acai flavor, and Snapple has thrown its hat in the ring with the Acai Mixed Berry flavor of this line. The flavor is certainly “mixed berry”, with an aroma and taste that is like a light fruit punch. Like the peach pomegranate flavor, the tea flavor is minimal, if not nonexistent. The acai and mixed berry flavors don’t really have a lot of depth, which is not really a surprise given the lack of acai or berry concentrate being present. Overall, a mediocre product that might appeal to people who are curious about acai and red tea, but don’t know what they should really taste like.

Mandarin Tangerine

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 17.5 fl oz (517 ml) glass
BevNET Review: Technically speaking, the Mandarin tangerine flavor of the Snapple Red Tea line has the most accurate and natural tasting fruit flavor, but it is still severely lacking in terms of tea flavor. While we appreciate Snapple’s desire to create a product that is naturally low in calories (40 per serving, 90 per bottle), they’ve missed the mark by letting only a minimal amount of tea flavor into this drink. We also maintain that they need to use a better cap – the stock gold cap looks awful.

Peach Pomegranate

Product Type:Tea: Sweetened; Container: 17.5 fl oz (517 ml) glass
BevNET Review: Snapple’s Red tea – aka South African Rooibos tea – doesn’t really have much substance to it, which is really not much different from any of their other attempts to mainstream trendy tea varietals. The flavor of peach and pomegranate make up most of this product’s body, giving it the taste of watered down juice rather than tea. Fortunately for Snapple, the fruit flavors – which are partially derived from real pear juice (10%) – are pleasant, but they still taste like flavorings. The label design is good, but a stock-style cap kills their effort to give this product an upscale feeling. Overall, it certainly needs improvement, but we think this product will likely do well in mainstream channels nevertheless.
