I'm a figure skater and I needed something refreshing that wasn't a soda after a long day of practice. I've been trying to stay away from sodas lately due to the overwhelming number of potentially harmful things in them. I had seen the commerical and decided to try it. I have to say that I love it. The flavor is sweet but not too sweet and has a nice balance of flavor. It smells yummy too, one of my friends smelled it and thought it was strawberry candy. I try to stretch them out over a day because of that annoying fact that most drinks insist on putting more than a serving in their bottles so I took it with me to school and it was still just as good when it wasn't cold. I don't feel bad drinking it like I do with a soda and I think that it did really help me be calm.

The old Taste was better
The makers of Sobe Life-water must have been smoking crack when they changed its formula to the Life Water that's in stores today. Life water lovers out there are calling this new formula "Post-Super Bowl Sediment." How many of you lovers of the old formula find yourself digging through shelves at the grocery stores trying to find the old Life Water bottles because you know that's the "good formula"? Remember the "New Coke"? Remember how they had to bring back "Coke Classic"? Life Water is now a sickly saccharin-like blend that tastes like all the other fake sweetened waters on the market. I've had to switch to Vitamin Water and then water it down myself. Sobe really had a crisp and fresh tasting product. Why the hell did they change it??
Bring Back the old Life water and call it "Life Water Classic"!!!!!
I used to drink Life Water all the time. But since they changed the ingredients, I don't like it at all. It leaves an unpleasant artificial sweetener after-taste even though it doesn't have any artificial sweetener in it. Maybe it's the new herbs, but I can't drink it anymore.
I prefer Glaceau vitamin waters over this life water flavor. Has a nice overall flavor but I don't like the aftertaste that much, may have too much of something, it makes my throat burn a bit.
