BevNET Review: SoHo Natural Rootbeer has an authentic taste and is certainly going to appeal to the value conscious soda consumer. The 23 ounce can features a stylized Manhattan city-scape with buildings that are almost as large as life. The quality of the flavor is mediocre at best. Like the other products in the line, this one is sweetened with cane sugar syrup, a fact which the product advertises on its label. However, they've also added high fructose corn syrup which may disappoint the type of consumer that will care about cane sugar. Caveat emptor. Reviewed on: 1/20/2005

BevNET Review: SoHo Cola is a new product from Arizona Beverage that attempts to capture the spirit of a New York soda. For those unfamiliar with the source of this product's monicker, SoHo is a neighborhood in NYC which was named due its location, SOuth of HOuston street. SoHo Cola's massive 23 oz can features a picture of the New York City skyline and has an old-fashioned font that is almost art-deco in its appearance. SoHo Cola has a sweet formula, but feels a bit flat in its finish. The product uses a mixture of cane sugar and HFCS, which give it a slightly less syrupy flavor than colas made by the big guys. However, we feel that this product is somewhat conflicted as this blend of sweeteners appeals to two different consumer bases. Overall, this product is clearly a value price product (it even says 99 cents on the back of the can) packaged in a massive can that was released at a a time when sugar-based CSD consumption is down. BevNET Review: SoHo Lemon Lime Soda's quality is, unfortunately, on par with a private label lemon lime soda. While the product uses cane sugar syrup, it also uses high fructose corn syrup which leaves a slightly syrup-like consistency to the product. The package design is attractive and may catch consumers who are familiar with the SoHo brand of the late 1980's, but beyond that, the product feels quite generic. BevNET Review: SoHo Orange Soda is a good quality orange soda that has a lightly sweet, crisp flavor. It's a pleasant flavor that has its own unique flavor and personality. The New York skyline design is attractive as is the retro-style SoHo Natural logo. The size of the product is perhaps a bit overwhelming as we think this is simply too much to consume within one sitting. Still, the product provides a great value to the consumer with its 99 cent SRP *like other Arizona products). Probably the best flavor of this brand.Reviewed on: 1/20/2005

BevNET Review: SoHo Natural Blueberry Soda is an interesting product. Packaged in a mega-23 ounce can, this new CSD comes at a time when sugar-based CSDs are down due to calorie and carb concerns -- but this product packs a whopping 350 calories per can. The package also says "made with pure natural cane sugar" but the label still shows high fructose corn syrup as one of the ingredients, which is a bit of a technicality as the label doesn't say have the word "only" on it. This feels a bit mislreading to us. As far as the flavor goes, the product has a light blueberry flavor, but overall the product is a bit watered-down and syrupy. SoHo Blueberry Soda is a product that we'd take a pass on.Reviewed on: 1/17/2005
