BevNET Review: SoHo Natural Rootbeer has an authentic taste and is certainly going to appeal to the value conscious soda consumer. The 23 ounce can features a stylized Manhattan city-scape with buildings that are almost as large as life. The quality of the flavor is mediocre at best. Like the other products in the line, this one is sweetened with cane sugar syrup, a fact which the product advertises on its label. However, they've also added high fructose corn syrup which may disappoint the type of consumer that will care about cane sugar. Caveat emptor.

In agreement with the BevNET reviewers, this is a value beverage. I got this whole can for only 60 cents. As to whether I'd want to drink it all is another question. I can taste the cane sugar, but also the HFCS, which can give you the "soda mouth feel". Bonus points for the brand, design, size, and at least trying with cane sugar. I wouldn't drink this again, though.

Bevnet review is correct. Taste is mediocre. Thought I tasted a slight coffee-ish after taste which was really strange. Overall taste very bland. Would not buy again.

Graphics and taste... the best of both worlds and more

I discovered Soho Natural Soda one day while i was on a lunch break. I walked down to Eckerd in Pittsburgh to get a pack of crakers and a water, when I came across this large can with a simplistic but impresionable and colorful can. Being a graphic designer my eyes catch things that otheres would pay no attetion to, and the graphic on the Soho can was amazeing. It has a old/vintage but unique feel to it, with a new age smooth design that appeals to all. I bought a can to try it out -i like to try new soda thats on the market- the price was another reason. When i opened the can and tasted the soda i was blown away, the lable on the can doesnt lie "Natural". Thats the best word to descride the taste. It has a clean, smooth, feeling. Not that typical syrupy taste that most major sodas have. And the taste its self is the best tasteing out of any, with natural flavores and natural ingredients. My favorite its the Root Beer" but i highly recomend all of them.
