BevNET Review: With the added lemon lime flavor, Sol Mate Lemon Lime would be our choice over the original. The citrus flavor provides a nice complement to the mate and also gives the drinker something familiar in a potentially new flavor. The product is otherwise identical -- clean, premium style packaging and a USDA organic formulation. We didn't get any sort of energy buzz from this product, but it's still an extremely enjoyable alternative to CSDs -- which is really where we see it's potential anyway. Our only complaint is that it's somewhat difficult to tell which flavor is which as it's buried at the bottom of the bottle in a relatively small, italic font.

I'm a yerba fan; I begin every day sipping from a gourd. A friend suggested we split a case of the Lemon Lime Sol Mate, and I'm glad she did. I like the lemon lime combination. The presence of yerba is delicate, which may attract those who are not familiar with the pungent flavour of straight-up yerba. Of the bottled yerba drinks I've tried, this is my favourite. Well done, Sol Mate.

THIS IS GREAT! I liked the bottle and the guy who sold it to me was raving about it. I now know why. Its refreshing and just dam good.

I do like the thick glass bottle with ridges. I love traditional yerba mate, and this is not a representation. there is a slight mate flavor, but it's ruined by the carbonation and cutric acid. This is worse than the other, but very close and I see no reason they have to make two. The stimulants in this do make me shakey.
