Claiming “six time times the kick and six times the flavor” and a warning label that’s several sentences long, Spike Shooter is most definitely not your typical energy drink. With 300mg of caffeine per 250ml serving, Spike Shooter will certainly deliver a big “spike” – we couldn’t even finish half a can – but the flavor is a bit tough to swallow. Featuring an artificially sweetened fruit punch flavored formula, Spike Shooter has a very noticeable burn to its taste that leaves a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. The packaging is clean and it has a slight retro feel to it with its blocky font treatment. The black, yellow, and red design is appealing and fresh feeling. Overall, a nice looking product with a decent taste. The real question about this product – and its potential success/failure – is whether or not the market will respond positively to the dose of caffeine.
