BevNET Review: Sprech Ginger Ale is much different than any other ginger ale we've ever sampled here at BevNET. Basically, the product has a very cool mouth feel and a subtle spice to the finish. This product has the best of both worlds -- sweetness and ginger spice. In addition, we really like the 16oz wide body bottle. It adds a lot of character to the product. Great stuff.

Lots of people seem to rave about this, but I find it nothing to write home about. The flavour profile is muddled, with a lot of flavours, none of them a strong ginger, and many of them unpleasant and medicinal. This soda tastes more like an herbal tonic than a soft drink. It's too bad, because Sprecher makes the absolute best root beer and cream soda - They just need to go back to the drawing board with this one.

Real Ginger Ale

I am not just a fan because this is brewed in my hometown of Milwaukee Brew City. This is a very refined ginger ale and has a great spicy/sweet taste. The flavor profile is so much more than that of the generic tasting ginger ales. For those looking for something different this is the soda for you. The bottle also makes it feel mature and cool to drink.

Very smooth, refreshing flavor. You can see the real ginger floating in the bottle. I liked it but I wish it had more of a bite to the ginger. If you don't like a "hot" taste to a ginger ale you'd enjoy it.

This product totally blows away all of the ginger ale stereotypes. Very refreshing with a hint of spice. You'll never go back to Canada Dry!
