BevNET Review: Sprecher Root Beer is a top-quality root beer made in a brewery in Wisconsin. It has a strong vanilla flavor, a smooth taste, and a nice thick head. In addition, this beverage uses botanicals and raw honey, which give Sprechers a unique finish. We highly recommend this root beer -- the taste is so enjoyable and it comes in a 16oz (not your normal 12oz) brown glass bottle for optimum refreshment. One of the best beverages to ever come out of the midwest!

The best

While on assignment in Wisconsin, I was told to try this root beer. I have never been a root beer drinker. I always found it too sweet. This is the best root beer I have ever tasted!! It is smooth and on a hot summer day a frosty mug of Sprecher's can't be beat!!

Root Beer, That's Good Beer

This is one of the best root beers I've ever had (not as good as Frostie, though)...very creamy

The BEST!

Sprecher's Root Beer is simply the best in my opinion. I've turned my Swedish friends onto this and now Sprecher needs to export! Sweden needs Root Beer and Sprecher should be the ones to handle the job! :-)

almost excellent

had one after a Green Bay victory, was surprised it was made with corn syrup. takes a lot to over come that, switch to cane sugar and you have a 5 star.

As far as I know, my journey is over:

I've been a fan of root beers for quite a long time now, having tried quite a few. I've tried many from the lowliest store-brand which is usually regrettable to expensive gourmets.. And I must tell you, after living in Wisconsin, the only thing I can possibly miss is the easy availability of what is probably the best root beer I've ever had and will likely ever find. Sprecher's has crafted some of the best sodas I've ever had. Their Cream and Root Beer are of particular note. I really can't think of anything wrong with these sodas, though perhaps them switching off of corn syrup might be the best last mile attempt at perfection. Any of you who have a chance to try their sodas should leap at the chance to. While it may not be your favorite like it is with me, I'm pretty sure you won't regret it at all.

High Quality Root Beer

You can really taste the individual ingredients like the honey, and they come together in a really wonderful blend. Not sickly sweet like other root beers, this one really packs a good bite (but not excessive) and a lot of flavor.
