BevNET Review: Lemon-Lime was the easiest to drink out of the entire Squeeze line of beverages. Don't let us mislead you though. This beverage was still not very good. It is bright green and it tastes like lollipops. This stuff is so sweet that its taste borders on overkill. We could hardly even stomach even a couple sips of this beverage.

Old Favorite!

Squeeze was bottled just up the road from me in Adams, Mass until the around 2001 I think. I even think their old sign is still up. Red Cream was the best followed by Birch Beer, Sasparilla, Grape, Orange, Rootbeer, Strawberry and Lemon lime. Other flavors too but were not too popular. As a kid growing up in the early 70's, Squeeze was the only soda to still give a nickle on a returned bottle. All other sodas at the time were no deposit no return. That was a lot back then, lol.

Squeeze was great!

I thought this was an excellent soda, the lemon lime was my favorite. It tasted like an all lime soda, which I thought was delicious. I must disagree with the review. The orange was excellent as well. They didn't vanish in the 50's, I was still purchasing Squeeze through the late 90's, they disappeared from our New England shelves here around the time this review was written, early 2000's. Apparently they completely disappeared when the brand was bought from the original upstate New York owners in 2004 by XStream Beverage Group, Inc. The flavors were going to be altered (not a good idea) and they were going to market it differently. Looks like it didn't work out and the brand has ceased to exist. LIME SQUEEZE

IN WACO,TEXAS IN THE YEAR 1950, WE BOUGHT SQUEEZE AT THE NEIGHBORHOOD GROCERY STORE. IT WAS MORE TART THAN SWEET, AS I REMEMBER. THE BOTTLE WAS NOT THE ONE PICTURED. THE BOTTLES OF THE 50S HAD A PAINTED PORTRAIT OF A BOY AND A GIRL SITTING ON A PARK BENCH SQUEEZING EACH OTHER. WHERE WAS THIS DRINK HEADQUARTERED? THEY VANISHED FROM SIGHT AROUND 1951.
