BevNET Review: Starbucks Doubleshot is by far the most potent RTD iced coffee we've ever sampled. It's made with nonfat milk, espresso, cream, and sugar and has a very rich and creamy taste. The coffee is quite strong -- but what did you expect from a product called Doubleshot? We have mixed feelings on this product. First of all, the burnt taste of the milk (from pasteurization) gives the coffee a slightly rough taste. You'll get used to it, but it's still noticeable. Second, why does one need this product? After all, when does anyone have trouble finding a Starbucks to get a fresh brewed coffee. Overall, it's good, but we'd rather have the real thing.

Sickeningly Sweet - Mislabeld

I bought this product to because the label clearly said, "espresso and cream". The label did NOT say it would be a sickeningly sweet drink. When I contacted Starbucks about this misleading label their customer service department essentially told me to "shove it". They made no apology or refund offer. This is just another overpriced piece of junk from Starbucks that is anything but a double shot.

Has a nice bold flavor with just the right amount of sweetening.I love a starbucks bold coffee and this taste very similar with a heavy cream.Only gripe is the price.A 4 pack shouldn't cost 6 something!

Definitely gives you a boost of energy, but still overpriced considering the size. Good product...overall value, not good.

I don't know what people are complaining about, it doesn't taste that strong at all and I rarely drink any type of coffee expresso caffeiene stuff. It does give you a nice jolt of energy though :)

2.50 for a little bitty can of coffee-flavored milk. Put the money towards 3 cans of Mr. Brown.

I guess if you like extremely intense coffee drinks (cuban coffee, etc.) you might develop a taste for this. I couldn't handle it...especially iced. Maybee if it were a hot beverage....

I always keep a 4-pack of Doubleshots around for long drives, and it's rich enough cream-wise to even serve as a light meal, i.e. it's rather filling. My only beef here is the price ($2 a can?!) and the small size; needs to be about 50% bigger.
