Starbucks Doubleshot: Doubleshot Light

BevNET Review: We had a bit of trepidation with regards to this product, but the Doubleshot Light managed to put them at ease with its creamy texture and strong, smooth espresso taste. Our chief bit of concern surrounded the use of sucralose as the sweetener, and it was borne out to some extent – the chemical aftertaste was fairly strong. Nevertheless, it’s a nice choice for caffeine on the go – 70 calories gets you two shots of espresso in a fairly pleasant drink. The packaging is attractive – with its prominent Starbucks logo, tan and brown coloring, it looks like a lovely café au lait. Too bad they haven’t come up with a fine canned version of THAT.
