BevNET Review: They weren't kidding when they said that this stuff was spicy. Drink it fast enough and you are sure to gag. Even though it is "old-fashioned", this beverage is quite unique today. There are not too many spicy ginger ale beverages around. Stewart's Ginger Beer has a nice taste, and it has just the right amount of spice to make this beverage a winner!

it is true, Stewart's discontinued my favorite Ginger beer of all time. I received communication from a Stewart's rep personally. My Dark & Stormys have been seriously lacking as well. I did stumble upon a, dare I say, suitable replacement in a Goya product. Goya Ginger Beer had a bit more bite and not as smooth but at this point I feel as a beggar I can't ignore it as the only close option I have come across since. I found it in a little mercado in Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Agreed this is the best ginger beer around (IMO). From what I've found, the next best thing belongs to Archer Farms (Target brand). not as spicy but more flavorful than other brands I've tried.

Can anyone tell me the next best Ginger Beer, as I can't find Stewarts and it is ruining my Dark and Stormy? Also, if & Up owns it, can't a lot of us contact them and beg?

1-800-762-7753 Do the female IVR thing on selection 2. Not in the list, but tell her "stewarts ginger beer" and enter your zipcode for closest stores. Hic !

Unfortunately I had heard from one of my local stores that Stewart's is discontinuing their Ginger Beer variety! I wish someone would send them to this site and let them know it is loved, since it has such a lovely spicy feel to it and comes close to being worthy of something you might enjoy on a Jamaican beach, or a Ginger Home brew.

It is the best, I have tasted more than ten different ginger beers and Steward is the best. Unfortunately, I am not been able to find it in my local supermarket in Seattle. Anybody can help me on this? I tried to order from soda.com but the cost of shipping is higher than the beer itself.

I have tried a half dozen ginger beers and Stewarts is by far the best for a tangy bite. My wife mixed it 50/50 with Bourbon and named it a Dixie Martini. We serve it ice cold in martini glasses. Keep the boubon in the freezer. Cannot find it anymore in the grocery store. It was pricy, but I would pay double just to get it.

Unfornately this excellent ginger beer is no longer available. I beleive Stewart's was bought by 7 up and discontinued it.

This is my favorite ginger beer. It is very spicy. It is very difficult to find, and I am looking for a good substitute which I have not been able to find. I have found a few others that are just as spicy, but they are too sweet.
