Stewart's Ginger Beer
This is my favorite ginger beer. It is very spicy. It is very difficult to find, and I am looking for a good substitute which I have not been able to find. I have found a few others that are just as spicy, but they are too sweet.

THE BEST
I have tried every kind of ginger beer I can find and none can begin to compare to Stewart's. It is the best! My only problem is finding it and would appreciate any information regarding retailers. I have found a few places online and am more than willing to pay the shipping cost - which is more than the ginger beer.

dark and stormy
without this main ingredient the "dark and stormy" just does'nt cut it. and I have tried NUMEROUS other ginger beers to no avail. Extremely hard to find and seems to disappear from shelves just when I become a regular buyer. Addiction problem? maybe.... but nothing seems to take the place... please make it more available!!!!!

HOT!!!
Just a couple sips burned my mouth and lips so much I felt as if I had been eating extremely hot peppers. I usually like ginger flavored drinks, but this is awful!!!

Not you normal soda pop!
Ginger beer is a very old fashioned type of refreshment. Medical propose of soothing sour throats during cold season and clearing the sinus. It is mostly used as a mixer for "Dark and Stormy?s", an old Bermuda or Jamaican drink with dark rum or as the old time miners used the ginger beer in a "Moscow Mule". The combination of the ginger, vodka, fresh lime mixed in a copper mug creates a chemical reaction that the spicy somewhat disappear, and is one of the most refreshing drinks. Too bad ginger beer is so hard to find!
I love this drink the spice and flavor is great! It"s just hard to find. All the other flavors are easy to find .Maybe because nobody tries it ,so no one sells it.
This is spicy with no taste. Goya is a little spicier and has more taste to it and is less than half the price (where I've shopped, anyway). Stewart's let me down. Having tried 10 different ginger beers, when in the mood for a ginger beer, Stewart's wouldn't satisfy me.
I don't like ginger flavoring in general, so my opinion here is biased. But this stuff is just too strong for me. Seriously, they should sell this stuff in shots rather than 12 oz. bottles. It's interesting to try and let your friends sample (or as a prank), but I can't imagine drinking this to enjoy it. If you like ginger flavoring, maybe you'll like it. Otherwise, it's purely a novelty drink - not something to buy lots of and expect to finish! FYI, I found it at my local H-E-B for those of you looking for places that sell it.
Some of you may be thinking that I have gone to far by only giving stewarts giniger beer two stars. This ginger beer is too sweet, and you can taste the obvious artifical attempt to create the old natural ginger taste. The only good thing about this ginger beer is it's wonderfly strong ginger burn, which awakens the senses, and yet souths the soul; but once thats over then your back to that artifical crap taste that you started with. If you want that good old natural botanically brewed goodness, that still has a great bite and burn, then try Fentimans ginger beer. Imported from the British Isles, with it's distinct, original taste, I put it at the top of my list.
I have tried many ginger ales and ginger beers and this is undoubtedly the very best, no contest. It's got a bit of a kick and you can really taste the ginger.
This is the very best ginger ale soft drink I have ever tasted, and Ive tasted alot of them Its my faforite of the Stewarts line of pop. You know you had something special to drink when your finished. I wish it was easy to find but no one carries it, Albertsons Ralphs Vons Safeway, Luckys Pigly Wiggly, Lion, Stater Bros., No one, Only Toms Farms in Corona Calif.
Stewarts Spicy Ginger Beer is the first soft drink that is spicy enough to make your nose run. It opens up your sinuses and wakes up your mouth. Beware...after drinking Spicy Ginger Beer you're ruined for any other soft drink. A real taste sensation.
I love this soft drink. I remember when other brand names like Vernors, Pepsi, and Coke used to have some "bite". They have all changed formulas. I only discovered your ginger beer a couple of years ago and I'm so glad I decided to try it. I have tried other ginger beers and they can't compare. Please don't ever change the formula like other companys.
