Better than some, not best
I'm a little surprised at BevNET's review. From the way they describe it, Stewart's Cream is the best. But go look at their review of Dr. Brown's Cream and they say virtually the same thing. And then there is an extremely positive review for my favorite, Manhattan Special Vanilla Cream.
While I appreciate that you can find Stewart's in a lot of places like 7-Eleven where you would otherwise only find A&W Cream, or no cream at all, I find the flavor to be somewhat average. Mind you, there are definitely worse cream sodas, and when Stewart's is the only thing available I'm quite happy to have it. But when comparing to other cream brands, it doesn't stand up to the ultimate test.
This is a fine cream soda, no question, but I refuse on principle to give ***** to any drink relying on artificial flavor. Come on, Stewart's, you can do better than that...maybe the fake stuff for some of your fruit flavors, but not the cream soda. Please consider an upgrade, thanks!
Stewart's cream soda is THE BEST CREAM SODA EVER. I don't know what it is, it's a little better than any other cream soda out there in every category. It tastes a little better, its a little smoother, a little frothier, etc. It's just that Stewart's are so hard to find and only ship to retailers, its a shame they didn't do a better job marketing their drinks.
