BevNET Review: Surge is a "fully loaded citrus flavored soda" from Coca Cola. To us, it boils down to just another citrus soda -- this time with extra caffeine. You can actually taste the caffeine in this one. It was very difficult to consume even even half of a 12oz can of this product. The flavor is so ridiculously sweet and plagued with caffeine aftertaste that we were unable to enjoy Surge. We would not recommend this beverage.

Surge is to bring back

Surge is the best soda i have ever had. it tastes so good and is a great soda. i believe surge should be brought back into the market because many people like this drink.

Not sure why this one got big.

Only reason I drank this stuff in high school was 'cause they were giving it away. I didn't realize at the time that the flavor was caffeine, but it definitely seemed off.

Lost, but never forgotten

I miss Surge. It was THE BEST drink around. Then they replaced it with vault...which is not as good.

The best frigging drink ever.

Why is Surge discontinued? What is wrong with coca-Cola? It is the greatest drink, and whoever doesn't think so should be hit upside the head many times.

SURGE!!!!!!!!! The power within!!!

I love surge, it kept me up almost an entire summer!!! It was amazing and I dream about it!

dont knock this stuff. its the greatest drink of my childhood. i loved the taste the after taste was a little bad but not enough to make me stop drinking it. i love the stuff.

This stuff was such an energy booster for me, the only thing that's ever given me more of an energy boost is Jolt.

Goodness

When I was about 6 or 7, Surge was the greatest soda around. Then again, I did have a mega sweet tooth as well as a caffine hangover that could kill a horse. I loved surge, it was the soda of partys and such. The taste was good, really syrupy... mmm...
