BevNET Review: Made exclusively with raw and organic pressed fruit juice, Seasonal is a blend of watermelon, coconut water, lime, and mint. Presumably a blend just for summer (hence the “Seasonal” name and use of watermelon), this product has a very refreshing and light flavor. Cutting it with coconut water adds both to the marketability and helps offset the sweetness of the watermelon. The lime and mint come into play at the finish and round out the formulation in such a way that the drink is very balanced. On the branding and positioning front, Sweetpress is a name that is straightforward but clever, with a minimalist design that fits well with what this product is all about. Since this product is made in small batches, the overall presentation of the package isn’t perfect -- the label was askew and the expiration date is handwritten on the back. However, for what is likely a high priced product, it certainly tells the consumer that what’s inside the bottle isn’t the same industrialized juice that makes up most of the market. Overall, this product is definitely one of the best tasting juice products that we’ve ever sampled.Reviewed on: 7/9/2012

BevNET Review: Sweetpress’s “Hydrate” formulation is a blend of cucumber, pineapple, coconut water, pear, and lime. Like the rest of their flavors, this variety is made with fresh organic ingredients and is bottled in raw unpasteurized form. In terms of taste, the product is heavy on the cucumber and pineapple flavors, with the coconut water and pear easy to miss. The lime is something that you can taste at the finish and it does a nice job of cutting the cucumber flavor. All in all, this is a very nicely crafted formulation that is refreshing and balanced. On the outside, the smallish 12 oz. clear bottle feels like something that is handcrafted -- just like the juice inside. Calling it “Hydrated” makes sense when you consider the coconut water, but it’s hard to quantify since there is no nutritional panel on the product (something that they’ll need to add). Furthermore, the product says it’s organic but doesn't show any organic certification label. While the visual design is otherwise clean, we would like to see something like “100% raw juice” on the label to help consumers know what sets this product apart. Overall, there are some technical flaws to the label, but otherwise this is a stellar product.Reviewed on: 7/9/2012

BevNET Review: Satisfy is made with a blend of carrots, beets, apple, cucumber, spinach, lemon, and parsley. While “satisfy” isn’t exactly what comes to mind when drinking this product, it is a very nice approach to using ingredients that are often very strong in flavor when on their own. Somehow, they’ve managed to put all of these ingredients into one bottle, which has created something that is sophisticated in taste and quite appealing to the senses. Each of the fruit flavors can be distinguished from the mix, which lets your palate know that this is definitely a good for you product that has only been processed very slightly. Otherwise, this product has the same packaging as the other flavor, but with a red accent color. While it’s not the fanciest packaging we’ve ever seen, it is a very nice complement to the raw ingredients inside the bottle. Overall, a very well executed product.Reviewed on: 7/9/2012

BevNET Review: Following the same format as the other Sweetpress juices, the Detox variety is a raw and unpasteurized beverage made with organic fruit juices. Flavor is very good, but a little too heavy on the apple. While we realize that they need something to cut the pineapple and ginger with, the apple takes away from the overall experience. Less apple -- or perhaps more spice from the ginger -- would make this more enjoyable in our opinion. Still, the quality of this product is very high and this product is amongst the best juices we’ve sampled.Reviewed on: 7/9/2012
