Fruit Punch

BevNET Review:
The second flavor of Swing Juice that we tried was the Fruit Punch variety. Much like the Lemonade flavor, it drinks a lot like a sports drink, but with a lighter level of sweetness than comparable products. Ingredients are similar as well, with sugar being the sweetener and taurine, caffeine, ginseng, and ginkgo being the "energy" for the product. Packaging is decent, but it's hard to feel strongly about it one way or another as it feels like it lacks personality. Specifically, the name "Swing Juice" doesn't really say anything to us. An above average tasting product that has an appearance that's bordering on bland. Punch up the look and this would definitely be a better product.

Orange Mango

BevNET Review:
Orange Mango is a well executed citrus flavored product that has the same sports drink style flavor as the other varieties. It's lightly sweetened, which works well with the orange and mango flavors. The fact that it's lightly sweetened and energy enhanced, makes it a good choice for consumption on the go. The packaging feels a bit flimsy, especially with the panels on the side of the bottle, which cut through the angled label. A bit of cleanup would do wonders for this product.

Pink Lemonade (Sugar Free)

BevNET Review:
The sugar free variety of Swing Juice is the Pink Lemonade variety and it's actually not bad. There is a mild sweetener aftertaste, but the pink lemonade flavor covers it for the most part. It's certainly not as enjoyable as the sugar based flavors, but as far as diet flavors go, we think that Swing Juice has done a pretty good job. Packaging is the same as the other varieties, with the pink color and words "sugar free" being the things that distinguish this flavor. We're not wild about the pink flavor -- it doesn't feel like an energy or sports drink color -- and we'd also suggest making the "sugar free" a bit more prominent.

Lemonade

BevNET Review:
Swing Juice's Lemonade variety has had a major facelift, resulting in a product that feels completely different that its original rendition. The flavor drinks like a lemon flavored sports drink, which is reasonably pleasing to the palate. Sweetened with cane sugar, the product is clean and crisp throughout. The "hybrid energy" is derived from a variety of ingredients, including caffeine, ginkgo, ginseng, and taurine. Fortunately, none of the ingredients interfere with the flavor. Packaging looks professionally done compared to the first version, with a partially wrapped sports drink style bottled. Overall, this is a decent product that definitely makes a good alternative to traditional sports drinks -- especially if you need a bit more boost (and some caffeine).
