BevNET Review: Syzmo's Prickly Pear Energy Drink is a good one, in terms of both packaging and flavor. It has a sweet flavor that's almost citrus like in nature, which is likely the result of its high level of sweetness and the cooling sensation of the agave. There's a bit of bite to the finish, but otherwise minimal energy flavor. Still, we think it has a taste that will be able to be credible as an energy drink. In addition, the ingredients include an interesting cocktail of some of today's more trendy energy ingredients, including yerba matte, coffee berry, green tea, and blue agave. Packaging is a sharp green can, which looks much more professional and polished that Syzmo's original look. Prominent placement of the USDA Organic seal is a plus, as is the new look of the Syzmo logo. Overall, an excellent super premium energy drink that has a best in class flavor.
