Lemon

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 19 fl oz (562 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: As far as unsweetened flavored waters go, Talking Rain has done a really nice job with this product. The formulation is quite simple, just water, pineapple juice concentrate, natural flavors and citric acid, which results in a simple yet natural flavor. With only 10 calories per serving, it's a satisfying product from both a nutritional point of view and in terms of flavor. Lastly, there's the packaging. It's good, but not great, with a bit too much yellow compared to the other varieties. The result is that it's hard to distinguish the name of the product from the background. If they could darken the color of the logo, this problem might be alleviated. Otherwise, a relatively enjoyable product.

Mandarin

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 19 fl oz (562 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: The Mandarin variety of Twist Naturals has a naturally fruity flavor with a sharp citrus note that's present from start to finish. We found it to be relatively enjoyable, but would like the tartness to be toned down a bit. Otherwise, the product delivers a natural tasting unsweetened orange flavor that's simple and clean. The hot fill bottle is decent looking, but the crinkle of the label feels a bit cheap to us. Overall, a good tasting product that might see a boost with improved packaging.

Marionberry

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 19 fl oz (562 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: We're not quite sure why they decided to go with something exotic sounding like marionberry as opposed to something mainstream like blueberry, but so it is. The name doesn't whet our appetite the way a blueberry might, but it's basically the same flavor as far as we're concerned. It's got a nice fruity aroma that gives way to a tart berry flavor. Like the other varieties, there's only a hint of natural sweetness to it. It's just enough to please and not overwhelm. The color scheme of this variety is darker than the others, which might make it appeal to certain consumers seeking something a bit different than the softer shades used in the other varieties. Overall, an enjoyable drink with decent packaging -- but we think it might sell better under a different name.

Peach

Product Type:Water: Enhanced; Container: 19 fl oz (562 ml) plastic
BevNET Review: The Peach flavor of Twist Naturals is another enjoyable unsweetened flavored water. The flavor starts off a bit bitter but mellows out quickly, with a crisp dose of peach flavor to the finish. It lacks that "fuzzy" flavor that you might expect from a peach flavored drink, but for under 10 calories, we think they've provided a substantial amount of flavor to satisfy the consumer. The packaging and branding feel like they would be likely to appeal to a female consumer rather than a male, which is OK assuming that's who they are marketing this stuff to. Still, we found some of the panels difficult to read and, in some places, blurry, which certainly won't help sales of this drink.
