We're not quite sure why they decided to go with something exotic sounding like marionberry as opposed to something mainstream like blueberry, but so it is. The name doesn't whet our appetite the way a blueberry might, but it's basically the same flavor as far as we're concerned. It's got a nice fruity aroma that gives way to a tart berry flavor. Like the other varieties, there's only a hint of natural sweetness to it. It's just enough to please and not overwhelm. The color scheme of this variety is darker than the others, which might make it appeal to certain consumers seeking something a bit different than the softer shades used in the other varieties. Overall, an enjoyable drink with decent packaging -- but we think it might sell better under a different name.
