TeaZazz Sparkling Tea: Green Tea Mint

BevNET Review: As far as TeaZazz's lineup goes, this is definitely their best to date, combining a cool mint flavor with a light bodied carbonated green tea. It's also got a hint of sweet to it, but it maintains a mellow 25 calories per serving thanks to the use of a sugar and sucralose blend. Overall, it's a very pleasant product to drink. Packaging and positioning are still the biggest challenge for this product. First, the packaging. The full wrap 20 oz bottle has a busy front panel and a shape that implies a carbonated soft drink rather than a tea. Which takes us to the second point: is it a tea or a CSD? Eventually, it's going to have to fit on one shelf or the other, and while it's technically a sound tasting product, we're not sure that consumers will get it on the CSD shelf or the tea shelf. Our suggestion is to skew the look in one direction or the other rather than straddle both as it appears today.
