BevNET Review: Tibi Tonic is a 3 oz. shot-style supplement designed to help alleviate the effects of a hangover. The primary ingredients include glycine, N-acetyl L-cysteine, milk thistle, vitamins, and electrolytes. From a flavor perspective, it definitely tastes like a functional product. While it’s not overly medicinal, it’s not exactly a product that you’d drink solely for flavor either. That said, we’re glad that this is a 3 oz. package. Visually, the rectangular shaped bottle has a sophisticated look, while the black and silver label features a retro style appearance that feels like something from an apothecary. While it’s clear that they are taking the subtle approach rather than the in-your-face “HANGOVER RECOVERY” branding used by some of the competition, we can’t help but feel as though this branding would be better applied to some other form of functional beverage (one that has more broad appeal and less stigma). As it stands right now, this product has done what it has set out to do, but we think the niche for a premium hangover drink is limited at best. Reviewed on: 12/13/2012
