BevNET Review: Tizane's Lemongrass flavor is an organic beverage that's made with a slew of high quality ingredients, including blue agave, lemongrass, hibiscus, anise, lemon balm, eucalyptus, spearmint, and catmint. The resulting flavor is superb, with a complex flavor that's lightly sweet and extremely smooth. The main flavor of the drink is the hibiscus herbal tea, while lemongrass and mint provide a pleasant note to the finish. There's only a touch of sweetness to the drink, provided by blue agave, which also helps keep the drink's calories to 60 per bottle. They've gone with a 12 ounce glass bottle, which has been decorated with a label that's easy to understand and extremely pleasing to the eye. Definitely one of the best herbal teas that we've seen in a while.

I first ran into the makers of Tizane at a co-op where they were sampling their delightful organic Tizane beverage. It was a hot summer day and the refreshment I experienced in those 12 ounces had me hooked. The aroma upon opening the bottle was delicate, flavorful, and enticing. The flavor lived up to those expectations as well! I bought all three flavors and found each to be equally pleasing! Two days ago I bought a case of 12 mixed from all three flavors. Its gone already and only two of us drank it! If you want organic refreshment with low calories, Tizane is your beverage!

My New Favorite Drink

I found Tizane yesterday at the Green Festival in Washington, D.C. and went back twice during the day for another bottle. My wife and I loved it so much we went back today and bought a case. The lemongrass is my hands-down favorite, while my wife find irt a toss-up between lemongrass and jasmine. The flavor seems gently permeate every cell of Tizane, but it is never too sweet. I like that they use agave nectar (and not too much of it). Before you think that this beverage is only for people like me who aren't into 'sweet' drink, my wife is a person who does go for sweets and she loves Tizane too. 60 calories in 12 oz isn't bad either. Try it! Trust me.
