BevNET Review: Tommyknocker Root Beer Float is an attempt to capture the wonderful concoction that is root beer soda and vanilla ice cream. The flavor to this beverage could best be described as a hybrid of root beer and cream soda with hints of caramel. This is a drink that will likely appeal to children or perhaps more importantly to folks looking to recapture one of the great flavors of childhood. The quality is decent, but a switch to cane sugar would definitely improve the product's syrupy body. Overall, a decent product.Reviewed on: 1/21/2005

Orange Creme

BevNET Review: Tommknocker Orange Creme is your run-of-the-mill orange creamsicle soda. High fructose corn syrup, natural orange flavors, potassium sorbate. Nothing too special here. The only nice thing is the addition of natural vanilla, but you really have to think hard to realize it's there. Reviewed on: 2/25/2003

Key Lime Creme

BevNET Review: Unlike some of the other flavors in this brand, Tommyknocker Key Lime Creme does not have any herbal additives. In fact, it really doesn't offer much aside from a flavor that is remniscent of lollipops. Key Lime Creme is really a bit of a stretch and it isn't something we'd be likely to purchase. Strawberry Creme

BevNET Review: Strawberry Creme is another herbally enhanced soda from Tommyknocker. We have to say, this variety is just a tad too bizarre to really wet our appetite. It has a flavor that's essentially a washed out cream soda that has been enhanced with maple, vanilla, and strawberry flavor, which never tastes terribly natural. Overall, a mediocre soda that was difficult to drink.Reviewed on: 2/25/2003

Root Beer

BevNET Review: Tommyknocker Root Beer is a relatively clean herbal style root beer that has a sweet maple finish. As with the other flavors, it could definitely improve a lot if they were to switch to cane sugar. However, this root beer is definitely good stuff. It has a nice foamy head and, for the most part, a smooth finish that has very nice hints of maple. Overall, it's not the best root beer on the planet, but definitely an above average brew.Reviewed on: 2/25/2003

Almond Creme

BevNET Review: Tommyknocker Almond Creme is about as good as it gets for this product line. Featuring an herbal recipe and pure Madagascar Vanilla, this product truly has a flavor that is rich, creamy, and refreshing. The only thing we'd change is the use of high fructose corn syrup. It's the only flaw in an otherwise superior product. Also, the packaging is a tad too generic to really grab our attention in a sea of similar competitors.Reviewed on: 2/25/2003
