BevNET Review: This certified organic iced tea is another great product from the Tonic Scene company, which has apparently launched an unsweetened line of teas under the Tea Scene name. It couldn’t have picked a better flavor for an unsweetened product than lemon myrtle, which bursts with citrus and herb in each sip. With its clear glass bottle and simple label, this is a fresh-tasting, complex, smooth drinking tea, and will be a great choice for fans of unsweetened products.Reviewed on: 6/23/2006

Yerba Maté

BevNET Review: The Tea Scene/Tonic Scene crew have done something hard here: they have put together an unsweetened, unmixed, pure Yerba Mate that is palatable to our sugar-loving taste buds. And they did it by brewing this stuff perfectly into a pure, edgeless tea without any of Yerba Mate’s traditional grassy bite. Not to say that this doesn’t smell of smoke or taste earthy, but it’s pleasant, not harsh, and the simple design reflects the simple taste. Chamomile

BevNET Review: Definitely our least favorite of the unsweetened Tea Scene products, the chamomile was a bit too flowery for our taste, although it still had that great purity that comes from being made of nothing but brewed herbs, water, and citric acid. Again, the bottle is lovely and simple, and we think the whole line has a lot of potential, but straight iced chamomile should be more delicate.Reviewed on: 6/23/2006

Lavender Mint

BevNET Review: This is a soothing, creamy peppermint-flavored tea with a barely noticeable hint of lavender – so barely noticeable, in fact, that we didn’t, because the tea is so strong, but it did give the manufacturers at Tea Scene the ability to print out their gorgeous lavender label. Rooibos

BevNET Review: This is a nice certified organic RTD tea with no caffeine, very few (30) calories per serving and a strong tea flavor. Rooibos, or red tea, is a strong, almost vegetal tea leaf that isn’t grassy in the least. It smells like fresh-brewed tea that’s steeping in pot, and drinks clean and slightly sweet, with a tangy finish. Packaged in a 16-oz widemouth glass bottle with a classy label, this product is definitely worth a try for tea lovers who want to try something new.Reviewed on: 6/14/2005
