12 Noon to Midnight

Manufacturer's Brand Overview [Edit]

12 Noon to Midnight (12NtM) is pioneering the gourmet beverage segment. Our flavors were developed by two legendary American chefs using only the highest quality natural ingredients. 12NtM begins life with our secret blend of herbs and spices, it so secretive that we have the formula locked away in a safe... in the middle of a cornfield at an undisclosed location. Overkill? Perhaps. Completing the flavors requires two different blends of all natural fruit juices and just enough tea to tickle your palate. To finish everything off we put each flavor through a complex carbonation process ? take our word for it, keeping something in a liquid state at 10 degrees Fahrenheit is no small task. The end result, well that is for you to decide, we guarantee you have never tasted anything like it.

Rouge

Product Type:Tea: Alternative; Container: 750ml Glass
BevNET Review: Compared with its Original counterpart, we found Rouge'’s flavor to be more enjoyable and mainstream. Thanks to the addition of pomegranate juice, spices, and tea, the product feels like a sophisticated take on the classic holiday bottle of sparkling grape juice. However, it feels slightly less unique than the flavor in Twelve Original. Packaging and branding also feel improved over Original, which is the result of the darker-color liquid and the more descriptive name of the flavor. Otherwise, the modern and chic appearance is on par with the other variety. Ultimately, this feels like a well executed boutique spin on a classic sparkling juice. Reviewed on: 2/14/2011

Original

Product Type:Tea: Alternative; Container: 750ml Glass
BevNET Review: Using a mixture of carbonated water, white grape juice, lemon juice, pineapple juice, peach juice, spices, herbs, sea salt, and tea (green, black, and white), the flavor of Twelve is something that unique and original. We'’d say that it'’s most similar to a sparkling juice, with pineapple being the most dominant flavor. Still, it’'s much lighter in body, and includes secondary notes of tea and spice. Honestly, we have mixed feelings on this product. On the one hand, the flavor is unique and enjoyable, but on the other hand, the large format seems impractical and the name, “Original”, provides no description of what you’re getting into. Visually, the packaging is striking, but, at least from afar, it could be mistaken for a bottle of wine. The ultra-modern look is nicely executed, but it might alienate some types of consumers and on-premise locations. Finally, there’'s the name, which implies (through the tag line “noon to midnight”) that this product is meant to be served in the afternoon or evening. That seems like a missed opportunity: this product’'s juice and tea flavor would be great in the morning as well. Overall, very nicely executed flavor and design, but the target audience for this type of product seems somewhat limited. Reviewed on: 2/14/2011
